Sathyamangalam
The first Sugar plant in the group situated near Sathyamangalam of Erode District, Tamil Nadu State and started its commercial production in the year 1986 with an initial capacity of 1250 Tonnes of cane crush per day. Further it expanded to 2500 TCD in the year 1998 and to 4000 TCD in the year 2002. Now the unit is producing sugar by sulphur free process from the season 2016-17 with modernized boiling house equipments.
The Sugar plant has an imported facility to produce Refined sugar of 300 MT per day with ICUMSA colour less than 10 IU and the same is mainly marketed to Pharmaceutical and institutional customers in India and abroad.
The Quality Management System ISO 9001 : 2015 is certified by DNV GL in 2020 for the Manufacture of Raw sugar, Plantation white sugar and Refined sugar.
The Food Safety Management System Certification ISO 22000 : 2018 is certified by DNV GL in 2019 for the Manufacture of Raw sugar, Plantation white sugar and Refined sugar.
Jamiat Ulama Halal Foundation has awarded HALAL certification for the products White Cane Sugar and Refined Sugar.
